Ms Anita Low-Lim

30 Sep 2020
Anita has more than 20 years of experience in programme design, evaluation and research to build a future-ready social service sector. Her interest lies in developing effective and cutting-edge programmes through the platforms of service learning, mental health, cyber wellness, and the analysis of role transitions in the family.

Anita was credited with the set-up of TOUCH’s Impact & Research Department in 2017, which has enabled the organisation to articulate and measure the outcome and impact of its programmes to lend greater credence to its work.

Anita played a lead role in advancing cyber wellness education beyond the school to the community to impact the lives of families, children, youth and the elderly. This is achieved through leveraging research capabilities, collaborating with government bodies, local and overseas educational institutions and technology companies, to develop evidence-based programmes and innovative products. She was also invited as a guest speaker on cyber wellness issues at different UNESCO platforms and international conferences.

Anita is a member of the Media Literacy Council and co-chairs the Youth Alliance for Mental Health under the National Council of Social Service.

In 2019, Anita was awarded the Tote Board Overseas Scholarship and completed the programme on Strategic Perspective on Non-profit Management in Harvard Business School.

Anita holds a Master in Social Sciences (Applied Sociology) and Bachelor of Arts Degree from the National University of Singapore.
