Mr Peter Tan

Peter is an organizational psychologist by training, with a degree in Social Work and Psychology from the National University of Singapore. He started his career as a Police Psychologist/Counsellor in the Singapore Police Force and Armed Forces in more clinical/trauma related work. He decided to specialize in organizational psychology and spent approximately 15 years in the private sector driving human resource and talent management/leadership development initiatives within various multi-national companies. Among his achievements include growing various start-ups, successful implementation of leadership development and succession planning initiatives, driving customer-centric HR outcomes, and helping leaders to become better leaders.
He returned to the local healthcare and social service sector within the last eight years, and has no regrets doing so. It has been a fulfilling return to his roots, which allows him to integrate all the rich experiences of his profession into his current role and mission within Community Psychology Hub and the social service sector at-large.
