With over 25 years of experience in the social service and healthcare sector, Terence joined Singapore University of Social Sciences as a Senior Lecturer to equip and empower future social service practitioners as effective agents of change to uplift lives and empower communities.
Terence possess a Masters and Ph.D in Social Work from the National University of Singapore and received training in Family Therapy at the University of Calgary. As a Social Work educator since 2008, Terence is also an approved clinical supervisor with University of Michigan, NUS, SUSS, Curtin and Swinburne University. His work had been published in professional journals & academic textbooks and he presented in several local and international conferences.
In view of his active engagements in the social service sector through board memberships, committee involvements, and training roles, Terence was appointed a Social Service Fellow since 2017.
Terence is married and has a son and a daughter. In his free time, Terence enjoys travelling, photography and a nice cup of coffee.
