At NCSS, we believe that all children and youths, regardless of their abilities, should have the opportunity to maximise their potential. We fund a range of programmes that support children and youth to build self-confidence and nurture positive relationships and behaviours, as well as to develop positive competencies such as personal and social skill development, decision-making, motivation, and life skills.
Programmes in the school setting to support, guide and create opportunities for children and youths.
At NCSS, we believe that every child and youth should have the opportunity to reach their full potential, regardless of their circumstances. Our funded community-based programmes are designed to provide support, guidance, and opportunities to help children and youths thrive.
Learning Support Programmes (LSPs) offer specialised learning support services for children with "mild to moderate learning difficulties" who are assessed to be behind their same-aged peers in their literacy and language skills. These programmes enable children to progress from their current abilities, bridging achievement gaps and building essential learning and social skills.
At NCSS, we believe that every child and youth should have the opportunity to thrive, regardless of their circumstances. Our funded mentoring programmes are designed to provide guidance, support, and friendship to those who may be vulnerable or at risk. In these programmes, dedicated mentors, who are experienced and caring, serve as role models, coaches, friends, and facilitators to help youths transition into adolescence successfully.
Our services and programmes are dedicated to maintaining and strengthening family bonds during the challenging period of parental incarceration.
