At NCSS, we believe in the power of mid-career professionals to make a significant impact in the social service sector. That's why we offer the Career Conversion Programme for Social Workers (CCPSW), formerly known as the Professional Conversion Programme for Social Workers (PCPSW). This programme is designed to provide mid-career individuals with the knowledge and skills needed to become qualified social workers.
Under the CCPSW, trainees work full-time with their sponsoring employer while concurrently pursuing their studies at the Singapore University of Social Sciences (SUSS). Employers also have the opportunity to receive salary support funding during the trainees' training period.
Upon completing their training and SUSS studies, graduates are required to serve a Minimum Service Period (MSP) with their sponsoring employers.
For social service agencies who are interested to sign up as participating employers or would like to find out more about the programme, please contact socialservice_ccp@ncss.gov.sg.
