Organisational health involves critical and objective-based processes that organisations undergo to improve their capacity and attain greater effectiveness, with a lens of being future-ready. This is done through the review, development and improvement of organisational strategy, structures and processes. Organisational health is key to enabling Social Service Agencies (SSAs) to deliver excellent quality, innovative and sustainable solutions to service users.
NCSS and MSF have, with the help of KPMG and 108 Growth Partners, designed the Organisational Health Framework for Social Services (OHFSS), which comprises seven domains: Strategy & Leadership, Governance, People, Finances, Digitalisation, Communications & Partnerships, and User-Centric Services.
The Organisational Health Guidebook for Social Services starts with an introduction to organisational health, the OHFSS, ways to strengthen the seven domains of organisational health and some best practices at SSAs.
