Look Beyond My Disability, See the True Me Campaign

See the True Me encourages the public to see persons with disabilities for who they are, instead of the disability they have. Organised by NCSS, and made possible by the Tote Board-Enabling Lives Initiative, the campaign aims to:

Celebrate the strengths and abilities of persons with disabilities
Educate the public on communication tips and support strategies for persons with disabilities
Encourage the inclusion of persons with disabilities in society

The campaign positions persons with disabilities as individuals with abilities and passions relatable to you and me, shifting the narrative to one that is enlightening and empowering.
