Physiotherapy

As a Physiotherapist, you help patients who have lost mobility to relieve pain, improve muscle strength, respiratory and mobility functions to become as independent as possible in their physical activities.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assess pain, injuries and other physical dysfunctions experienced by service users.
  • Develop and monitor treatment programmes that improve or restore movement.
  • Educate clients and their caregivers on techniques to improve movement and physical function independently.
  • Collaborate with other social service professionals to provide customised physiotherapy services.

• SIT’s Honours Degree in Bachelor of Science in Physiotherapy

• Refer to Allied Health Professions Council (AHPC) for list of recognised qualifications available local and overseas
