Foreword Coffee: Enhance quality of reviews
Foreword Coffee is a social enterprise with the mission to mainstream disability and normalize inclusion. They provide training and employment opportunities for people with disabilities, special needs, and mental health needs across their business functions and strive to reduce social stigma through meaningful interactions over coffee.
Each employee that comes into Foreword Coffee has a personalized learning and development roadmap that is tailored according to their experiences and abilities. Supervisors, who are also persons with disabilities themselves, are entrusted to coach newcomers at the cafes. Timely feedback will be provided to the HR if more support is required, and targeted training sessions will be provided to help new employees pick up the required skills and contribute meaningfully to the team.
Over time, employees take ownership of their learning. Insights gained from the employees through regular check-ins help the HR to evaluate and improve Foreword Coffee's training programmes, work structures, and communication models.
PSA SG: Engage with stakeholders
PSA SG strives to co-create positive and constructive relationships with different communities by listening, understanding, and engaging with them. PSA SG’s flagship community programme, Health@Home (H@H), was launched in 2015 to support home-based healthcare and eldercare through corporate volunteerism among its staff in Singapore.
The H@H initiative is based on two fundamental principles: sharing caregiving knowledge with staff to assist seniors and their own families; and fostering a spirit of volunteerism among employees to meet both societal and community needs.
Aligning with PSA SG's vision, the 'Doing Good' movement was expanded by involving various partners within the maritime industry to reach out to beneficiaries and to organize numerous activities with PSA Marine, CrimsonLogic, CMA CGM, and Ocean Network Express (ONE) and many others.
