Overview
Launched in 2022, the DIPS study offers a comprehensive view of the experiences, challenges, and needs of persons with disabilities in areas such as employment, independent living, access to services, and overall quality of life. The study will survey 2,200 individuals aged 15-64 with disabilities, alongside their caregivers, on a quarterly basis until 2030.
The insights gathered aim to fill critical gaps in our understanding of the lives of persons with disabilities and their caregivers in Singapore. These findings contribute to Singapore’s broader strategy for disability inclusion, including the Enabling Masterplan 2030, our national roadmap for creating a more inclusive society by 2030.
Through DIPS, NCSS seeks to build greater awareness and understanding, ensuring the needs and aspirations of persons with disabilities are fully recognised and supported, fostering a truly inclusive Singapore.
