Volunteer Management Experiential Learning Programmes
NCSS’s Volunteer Management programmes empower leaders with skills to drive volunteer-focused initiatives, from the intensive VM Developmental Camp to the immersive Residential Learning Programme.
Overview
Our programmes are designed to empower volunteer management leaders and practitioners in Singapore’s social service sector.
Our programmes
Volunteer Management (VM) developmental camp
The VM developmental camp is an intensive 2D1N residential programme tailored to NCSS Volunteer Management Leaders, empowering them with the skills and strategies essential for leading a volunteer-driven social service ecosystem.
Held in February 2024, 30 leaders from diverse SSAs engaged in transformational leadership sessions, gaining the insights needed to pioneer volunteer management initiatives. Their commitment sets a strong foundation for a future-ready, volunteer-powered sector.
Volunteer Management Residential Learning Programme
The Volunteer Manager Residential Learning Programme, launched in 2019, offers VM Practitioners an immersive experience designed to foster growth, resilience, and innovation. Bringing together 25 participants from diverse SSAs, this residential programme dives into design thinking and community development methodologies.
More than just a learning experience, it equips practitioners to tackle volunteer management challenges and embrace change confidently, driving impactful contributions to the sector.
