Sun Ray

Overview

The Sun Ray Scheme is a leadership programme to harness individuals with strong leadership qualities, mobilising them to lead agencies and professional practices in the social service sector. Individuals under the Sun Ray Scheme will have the opportunity to experience rotations across social service agencies across the different sub-sectors, ensuring their holistic development and giving them cross-organisational exposure.

The scheme aims to allow these individuals to develop a broader perspective of the sector and deeper sectoral knowledge to help build the capability and capacity of the social service agencies they are deployed to.

The participating social service agencies can leverage the leadership and expertise of Sun Ray officers to help build the capabilities and capacity in the organisation.

The scheme hopes to build a closer network among social service agencies to facilitate better collaboration and to share new ideas within the social service ecosystem.
