Year Published 2021The Volunteer Engagement Tool (VET) is an online tool for SSAs to measure their volunteer satisfaction in a more efficient manner. This tool provides SSAs with a unique link to the survey and access to the dashboard to view their responses. The questions asked in the survey maps to the Volunteer Management Framework (VMF), allowing SSAs to understand their level of volunteer satisfaction in different areas. Targeted improvements in volunteer management can then be made to boost volunteer satisfaction and retention.
From January to December 2020, 23 SSAs participated in this project, implementing this tool in their organisation. Collectively, they received a total of 623 responses from volunteers. The responses have hence been collated, forming the basis for this sectoral report on volunteer satisfaction.
