Since stepping down as CEO of Eu Yan Sang International Ltd (EYSI) in 2017, Mr Richard Eu has been Non-Executive Chairman and leads its Board in providing strategic and governance oversight. In his more than 30-year career with EYSI, he has been instrumental in transforming EYSI into one of Asia’s largest consumer healthcare groups based on Traditional Chinese Medicine.
Besides EYSI, Mr Eu sits on the boards of both listed and unlisted companies as well as in non-profit organisations. He formerly served as chairman of the Board of Singapore University of Social Sciences and is now Pro Chancellor. He was on the National Heritage Board in his capacity as Chairman of the National Museum. Currently, he’s on the Boards of Thye Hua Kwan Ang Mo Kio Hospital and Thye Hua Kwan Nursing Home.
Mr Eu was named the Ernst & Young Entrepreneur of the Year 2011 (Singapore) and recognised as the CEO of the year by the Singapore Corporate Awards 2010. He was conferred the Public Service Medal (PBM) at the Singapore National Day Awards 2020. Mr Eu holds a LLB degree from the University of London.
Ms Anita Fam, a former lawyer, is a full-time volunteer who has been involved in the social service sector for more than 20 years, both at charity and national level, in the areas of disability, palliative care, healthcare and mental health. Ms Fam currently serves as President of the National Council of Social Service, Chairman of the Inmates’ Family Support Fund and Vice Chairman of the Board of Visiting Justices & Board of Inspection.
She sits on various boards and committees including the Institute of Mental Health, Lien Foundation, SG Cares Steering Committee, Catholic Health Care Asia and the Public Service Commission’s Disciplinary Panel of Persons. Also a Justice of the Peace, Ms Fam was conferred the Public Service Star (BBM) (Covid-19) in 2021, the Public Service Star (BBM) in 2014 and the Public Service Medal (PBM) in 2008 for her work in the community.
Mr Terence Quek is the CEO of Singapore Institute of Directors. He spent 13 years with the Singapore Navy as a Naval Combat Officer before becoming an entrepreneur. He co-founded a strategic communications consultancy group which he led through a merger to form Emergenetics APAC, growing it regionally as its CEO before his planned exit. Mr Quek volunteers actively with numerous organisations in Singapore and overseas, including as District Councillor of both South East and South West Community Development Councils, member of the management committee of SAFRA and co-chair of the Alumni Advisory Council at Singapore Management University.
He is a director of Project Happy Feet (a nonprofit that fundraises for education of under-served children in the region), a board member of registered charity Bone Marrow Donor Programme, and a member of Outram Secondary School Advisory Committee. He also sits on the Advisory Board of World Institute of Action Learning (Washington DC) and was Special Advisor to China Enterprise Coach Federation (Beijing).
Prof Anil Gaba is the Academic Director of Centre on Decision Making and Risk Analysis at INSEAD. He was Dean of Faculty INSEAD in 2006-2009, and Dean of Faculty and Research INSEAD Asia Campus in 2002-2006.
His research is in the area of assessment and use of subjective information, and analysis of decisions under risk and uncertainty, which has appeared in several academic journals. He is a co-author of the book Dance with Chance: Making Luck Work For You. He also codirects the International Directors Program (for board directors) and has won the Outstanding Teacher Award INSEAD MBA Core Course (Uncertainty, Data, and Judgment) fourteen times.
He is a regular consultant and keynote speaker at various multinationals and conferences in areas of judgments, decision making, and risk management. He received his Ph.D. in Decision Sciences at Duke University in the United States, and B.A. (Hons) in Economics at St. Stephens College, New Delhi, India.
Mr Nassar Mohamad Zain is the President of Malay Youth Literary Association (4PM) since 2021. Prior to this, he was the Vice President, leading various youth and family development initiatives.
Professionally, he is a Project Manager at Far East Organization, the largest private property developer in Singapore. Mr Nassar graduated with a Master of Architecture from the National University of Singapore (NUS). Mr Nassar also serves on the Board of People's Association (PA) and Yayasan Mendaki.
Ms Rachel Ooi has devoted nearly 30 years of her professional life to lead and scale digital and sustainability innovation with last 15 years on global-regional C-Suite roles owning P&Ls. She is recognised for her global thought leadership in these areas by Global Forbes Council and has authored Amazon #1 International Bestseller #unshaken in Digital Genesis.
As the Founder of Antioch Streams, a Certified Board Chair and ICF-PCC Systemic Change Coach, Ms Ooi coached, mentored, and advised more than 100 CEOs/CXOs and senior executives .(including founding family boards) on transitions, leadership transformations, and systemic change for them and their entities. She devotes her personal time on Impact Board Councils.
Ms Ooi was awarded by Dentsu Group as their Global Women Leadership on Sustainability for a Sustainability Leadership Certification from Cambridge University. She has been honoured for her contribution as an Adjunct Associate Professor on her 3Ps expertise (People-Planet-Profit) by the Nanyang Business School, NTU Singapore.
