Overview
NCSS provides hands-on consultancy and coaching to empower social service agencies in finding solutions, managing projects, and boosting staff skills for lasting impact. Consultancy support includes:
Pre-scoped consultancy: Funded at up to 80% per project, and SSAs can expect to pay between $7K to $23K.
IT audit consultancy: Funded at up to 80%, capped at $50K per project.
Cyber essentials: Funded at up to 80%, capped at $50K per project.
Data protection essentials and data protection & cyber trust mark: Funded at up to 80%, capped at $100K per project.
RPA consultancy: Funded at up to 80%, capped at $6K per project.
IT professional services: Funded at up to 80%, capped at $50K per project.
Non pre-scoped consultancy: Funded at up to 80%, capped at $50K to $150K per project.
Eligibility & criteria
Open to NCSS members and MSF-funded agencies.
Agencies must complete the Organisational Health Framework for Social Service Assessment.
Register your agency's participants for the survey.
Ensure registered participants to complete the OHFSS Assessment.

Applications with a total project cost of more than $37,500 will be required to submit a Digital Strategy Plan. This will help demonstrate how digital solutions would support your organisational goals and strategic outcomes.

Cost range: $35,000 to $115,000 (varies based on scope).
NCSS funding: 80% of costs per project.
SSA contribution: Approx. $7,000 to $23,000.
Detailed pricing: Provided after clinic to assess for suitable consultancy category.
Funding disbursement
Disbursement process:
After consultants provide proof of consultancy deliverables and obtain your agency's concurrence of completion, NCSS will disburse the approved funding amount to the agency directly, while the agency contributes the non-funded amount.

OHFSS assessment report:
Agencies are required to submit an assessment report that is within one-year validity from the date of receiving the report.
Step 3: Apply via OurSG Grants (OSG) portal:
Submit your application through the OurSG Grants (OSG) portal. The estimated application assessment period is up to 16 weeks (may extend for complex/incomplete applications).

IT Audit, Cybersecurity and Data Protection consultancy (CSDP)
Strengthen agency’s IT and data security with our consultancy services, from audits and certifications to essential cyber hygiene and data protection programmes.
Grant quantum
Cost range: $50,000 to $100,000 per project (varies based on scope).
NCSS funding: 80% of costs per project.
Funding disbursement
80% upon approval (upfront upon signing of the funding agreement).
20% upon completion, and submission of:
Proof of attainment of mark (for Data Protection and Cyber Trust Marks only).
Consultant's report.
Satisfactory assessment of the Final Evaluation Report.
All invoices.

Agencies are required to submit a report that is within one year validity from the date of receiving the report

Submit your application through the OurSG Grants (OSG) portal. The estimated application assessment period is up to 16 weeks (may extend for complex/incomplete applications).
Robotics Process Automation (RPA) consultancy
Agencies aiming to enhance productivity incorporation automation for manual and repetitive processes.
Grant quantum
Cost range: $1,000 to $6,000 (varies based on scope and complexity).
NCSS funding: 80%, capped at $6,000 per project, or $30,000 per SSA for multiple RPA projects.
Detailed pricing: Provided to SSA after consultant quotation.
Funding disbursement
Disbursement process:
After consultants provide proof of consultancy deliverables and obtain agency's concurrence of completion, SSA shall submit for claims to receive funding amount.
Disbursement:
100% reimbursement upon project completion with submission of:
Signed service agreement with the Consultant.
Consultant's report.

Agencies can leverage the IT Professional Services (ITPS) subsidy to address diverse IT needs with support packages that include infrastructure, data migration, and software configuration.

Cost range: $50,000 to $150,000 per project (varies based on scope).
NCSS funding: 80% of costs per project.
Funding disbursement
80% upon approval (upfront upon acceptance of Letter of Acceptance and signed vendor agreement).
20% upon completion, and submission of:
