Overview
The Sectoral Job Secondment (SJS) is a programme to help social service professionals develop their careers and gain critical experience and competencies through secondment to agencies within the social service sector. The secondment period is up to two years in the first instance, and employers can opt to provide an extension of up to two years. The aim of the secondment is to enrich the learning and development experience of professionals.

How to apply
View the available secondment opportunities.
Have a discussion with your Reporting Officer and HR once you have identified the positions you wish to explore for secondment.
Your HR team will convey your interest to the HR team in the borrowing agency. You may be required to attend an interview with the borrowing agency.
If you are shortlisted, your HR team will work with the borrowing agency on the secondment terms, remuneration package and commencement date.
You will review the secondment terms, remuneration package and commencement date, prior to signing the acceptance letter.
