Mr Jacks Yeo

Mr Jacks Yeo joined NCSS on 18 June 2024 as the Director of Sector Capability Planning. Prior to this, he served as Deputy Executive Director of DesignSingapore Council. He served in the Council for more than 20 years through various portfolios, from its formative start-up to its current 60-strong team.

With extensive experience in industry development, promotion, strategic planning, and corporate governance, Jacks played a key role in leading the secretariat team that developed the Design 2025 ten-year masterplan. This masterplan guided the Council's efforts to raise awareness about the value and impact of good design and encouraged organisations to adopt user-centered design to drive innovation and transformation.

Jacks holds a Bachelor of Arts (Architectural Studies) and a Master of Architecture from the National University of Singapore. He attended executive training for design thinking at the Stanford d.school. For his contribution to the development and promotion of the design sector, he was recognised with the Commendation Medal.
