Professor Kenneth Poon

Professor Kenneth Poon is the Dean of Education, Research and Centre Director of the Centre for Research in Child Development at the National Institution of Education in Nanyang Technological University. Trained as a clinical psychologist and early interventionist, he has over 25 years of experience in working with children, persons with disabilities (PWDs), and families.

Kenneth currently serves as President of the Rainbow Centre in Singapore and as Vice Chairperson of Catholic Family Life. He was appointed as Singapore’s representative to the ASEAN Commission of Rights for Women and Children and was co-chair of ECDA’s Inclusive Preschool Working Group. He was a recipient of the Friends of MSF Award in 2017, and the Outstanding Volunteer Award in 2021.
