Clinical Associate Professor Kevin Lim
Vice President of NCSS
Clinical Associate Professor Kevin Lim is an orthopaedic surgeon with a subspecialty interest in paediatric orthopaedics and scoliosis. He currently serves as Director, Strategic Partnerships and Global Health at KK Women’s and Children’s Hospital. As an academic clinician, Kevin is actively involved in clinical research and has presented and published his work. He is a reviewer and editorial board member for several medical journals and is the Country Advisor (for Singapore) for the Royal College of Surgeons of England.
During his decade-long Chairmanship at the Cerebral Palsy Alliance Singapore (CPAS), he played a pivotal role in setting up the national registry for cerebral palsy. Kevin continues to serve on the CPAS board as Emeritus Chairman and Advisor. At NCSS, he chairs the Services Committee and serves as a member of the EXCO.
Kevin has won several awards for service, teaching and research excellence, including the Singapore Health Quality Service Award (Superstar), PS21 Star Service Award, Healthcare Humanity Award, NUS Dean’s Award for Teaching Excellence, the SingHealth Publish! Award, and the SingHealth Outstanding Clinician Award. For his dedicated service to social services and public healthcare, Kevin was awarded the Public Service Medal (PBM), the Public Service Star (BBM) and the Long Service Medal (PBS).
